Thursday Picnic....

Comments

and what shall we dine on for the picnic? shall we have pollen pate?
Just FYI. Papua Nugini = New Guinea is no longer a part of Indonesia since they wanted to seperate from our country few years ago. It's our loss, since it's the only place in Indonesia at that time that had snow, on the top of Jayawijaya Mountain.

Thank you very much for the added information. I looked at several different sites trying to get a better idea where the Foja Mountains were. One of the sites had a map that showed Papua, New Guinea on one side of the line and Papua on the other side of the line. Maybe the articles I read about the pygmy possum are more than a few years old.

Your chocolate cake, of course !!!!
Oh, and a pollen pate would be peachy too !!
nonononono, cake bad for animals. chocolate deadly for some animals.
Ok, then we'll eat the cake and bring some plums and carrots for the animals.

Omg! A pear with eyes and little see-thru ears! So cute!!

We shall bring some biscuits and fresh fruit! It will be grand!
[this is good]
am I invited to this picnic?
Hehehehe....you're right....I hadn't noticed how transparent his ears are. And she sure is pear-shaped. The base of their tails get rounder in the summer because they store fat for the colder months ahead when food isn't as plentiful.
Absolutely GRAND !!! We'll have so much fun.
Thank you!! But of course you're invited !!

...and check out the stem tail! Hehe...Interesting info on this chubby pear, too.

Always fun learning new things!

Hahahaha....stem tail....that's so good !!

Look at the teeny pingers!!!! So Cute!!!!
switch out insects for carrots, which apparently aren't in their diet, and we have a deal.
[this is good]
Sure, I'd love a peach...picnic....a picnic with lots of peaches!
ooooooooooooo......that means so much coming from a happy rock !!
Thanks !! Lotsa peaches and lotsa picnics !!!

O!! I heard about this, but hadn't seen it -- WOWEE the most adorable!!
We get them around here, sometimes-- they can be scary, with all the teeth and hissing!
Thanks !! I actually read where these little guys make a hissing sound too. If I came across one of their much bigger, hissing, teeth baring cousins it would back me off for sure !!
Years ago a possum looked in our kitchen window and hissed through the screen. VERY scared!!!!!
Yikes !!!! Thanks would scare me too !!!
