I've been thinking about it ever since we talked....
And a Thursday picnic would be just peachy !!
This newly discovered species of pygmy possum, one of the world's smallest marcupials, can be found in the Foja Mountains, a remote mountain range in Papua Province, Indonesia. They are reportedly a bit shy, but do love to picnic.

Thank you very much for the added information. I looked at several different sites trying to get a better idea where the Foja Mountains were. One of the sites had a map that showed Papua, New Guinea on one side of the line and Papua on the other side of the line. Maybe the articles I read about the pygmy possum are more than a few years old.
Omg! A pear with eyes and little see-thru ears! So cute!!
...and check out the stem tail! Hehe...Interesting info on this chubby pear, too.
Always fun learning new things!
We get them around here, sometimes-- they can be scary, with all the teeth and hissing!
